Dy Valdez, Licensed Massage Therapist & Holistic Health Practitioner and Certified Member of Associated Bodywork and Professionals (ABMP) proudly upholding high ethical standards in a therapeutic profession. Dy hails from Kaimuki, on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. She returned to San Diego in 2008 after twenty (+) years on the islands.
Dy began her massage practice in 1997 at the Honolulu School of Massage on Oahu, Hi. She obtained a Holistic Health Practitioner Certification in 2012 with Mueller College, in San Diego.
As a coach and racer of Hawaiian outrigger canoes, she has a unique perspective with the ocean sport athletes’ bodywork needs as well as those of general exercise enthusiasts. With her scope of knowledge and experience combined with genuine empathy for those brought to her table, Dy approaches her bodywork practice with “e malama ipo e malama lima” (caring heart, caring hands).
Her specialties include therapeutic massage integrating Deep tissue, Negative Pressure Therapy Cupping incorporating Myofascial Release and Swedish massage techniques to address your area(s) of concern. Advanced Kinesio Taping also available.
